At the end of this session, participants will be able:

  1. Describe key factors contributing to burnout and resilience as they affect residents and physicians. (Resilience is NOT the opposite of burnout.)
  2. Identify potential solutions to burnout at the individual, organizational and systemic levels
  3. Describe an approach to program development for resident well-being
