Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify how current global social, political, humanitarian, and climate crises cause or contribute to suffering, both directly and indirectly;
  2. Reflect on how individual patients and clinicians alike are affected by these current realities;
  3. Consider the potential roles and responsibilities of mental health care providers through philosophical and ethical lenses, as well as in practical terms.
